Transept: an element placed across another creating an intersection or crossing.
It is the meeting of spaces … or even ideas.

This new name reflects our continued approach to architectural design:
"…the meeting of ideas to create unique responses to our clients needs…"

BIM Modeling

Our firm has used Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) systems for more than 30 years, and has developed effective approaches to managing technology. As this technology changed and software systems evolved, we saw Building Information Modeling (BIM) as the future and made the switch to BIM in 2009, one of the first firms in Calgary to make this transition.

BIM software allows for the creation of an intelligent data base to more fully represent the design intent of a facility. The 3D modeling capabilities and graphic representations allow for a more thorough design process through rigorous testing of design alternatives. The same 3D capabilities enable us to provide clearer presentation of ideas to the client and community.

BIM uses the power of software to provide better opportunities during the design process to integrate all the design disciplines. The model can also enable other specialists to test building systems such as acoustics, lighting, and sound systems prior to final design and construction.

We use the latest version of Autodesk Revit to 3D model every project as part of our design process and our clients reap the benefits.
